If you are unable to participate in our live auditions, we encourage you to send a video audition. We will accept DVD, VHS tapes, and online links to your recorded material.

Your audition footage should be no longer than 10 minutes in length, and the main focus should be on your solo and center work.

Your audition footage should include:

• Minimal barre work (one side only)
  
• Center adagio
  
• Pirouette
  
• Petite allegro
  
• Grand allegro
  
• Pointe work (if applicable): class work or a classical variation
  
• A solo: The solo should highlight your unique movement quality and artistic choices. You can choose a dance style that features your strengths and are welcome to showcase your own choreography or someone else’s.

All students auditioning via video must include Registration Materials with their video submissions. These materials may be submitted online or via mail. The Audition Fee for all video auditions is $35. Visit our Registration page for more information about Registration Materials and to register online.

Video auditions must be submitted by the postmark deadline of February 3, 2012 for the 2012 Summer Program.

All decisions for video applicants will be made by February 27, 2012. Notification will be send via email.
