Need-based financial aid is available for the Alonzo King LINES Ballet Summer Program. Once you have been accepted into the program, you may apply for financial assistance. Financial aid is awarded based on the need of the family and the student’s artistic potential. Funds are limited and are dependent upon the generous contributions we receive each year. Notifications will be sent in email by Friday, March 30.

For Accepted Students

Accepted students may apply for financial aid by submitting the following items:

• Application
• 2011 Tax Return
• Video

Your video should be no longer than 10 minutes in length, and the main focus should be on your solo and center work.

Your video should include:

• Minimal barre work (one side only)
• Center adagio
• Pirouette
• Petite allegro
• Grand allegro
• Pointe work (if applicable): class work or a classical variation
• A solo: The solo should highlight your unique movement quality and artistic choices. You can choose a dance style that features your strengths and are welcome to showcase your own choreography or someone else’s.

Note: students who were accepted through video audition do not need to submit an additional video.
